Dino arrested by EOW in Mithi River desilting case over loss of Rs 65.54 crore

Dino Morea was arrested by Mumbai Police’s Economic Offences Wing after a lengthy questioning session. His arrest is linked to the alleged Mithi River desilting scam involving financial irregularities. The BMC reportedly suffered a loss of Rs 65.54 crore from contracts awarded for the river’s rejuvenation. Morea had previously been questioned in May 2025 regarding phone records connecting him to the investigation.
