Fahadh Faasil’s latest Telugu outing, Don’t Trouble The Trouble, was released on the Gandhi Jayanti weekend. However, the film, which has fantasy and magic elements, failed to make a mark at the box office despite the long weekend. The film presented by SS Rajamouli was released amid much buzz owing to grand pre-release events. This also marks Fahadh Faasil’s first Telugu film as a hero. He made his Telugu debut as the villain in Pushpa 1 & 2.

The Telugu fantasy drama also stars child actor Ssara Palekar in the lead, along with Fahadh Faasil. The film is centered around Fahadh’s adventurous fraudster and a magical little girl who has accidentally made her parents disappear. Despite releasing on a national holiday, the film collected less than 2 crore on opening day. On Days 2 and 3, instead of seeing a hike, the film’s daily collection dropped below a crore. By Sunday, the movie had also lost over 400 shows nationwide. The film’s net total after 3 days stands at just 3.04 crore.

The net total for Don’t Trouble The Trouble after 3 days is quite disappointing. However, it is much higher than what Fahadh’s last solo release earned. The actor’s last solo release was the Malayalam film Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, released for Onam 2025. The film had earned 1.46 crore in its opening weekend. In comparison, Don’t Trouble The Trouble has earned 108% higher in its opening weekend. However, the total indicates that the audience has rejected the film, and the lead actor is heading for his second flop in a row as a solo lead.

Directed by Shashank Yeleti, the film stars Fahadh as Suri and Ssara as Divya. It narrates the story of Suri, who owes 25 lakh to a gangster. He plans to kidnap a child from a wealthy family to raise the funds quickly. However, his plans go awry when he meets Divya, the young girl who claims to have made her parents disappear with her magical powers. The film is presented by S. S. Rajamouli and produced by S. S. Karthikeya, Shobu Yarlagadda, and Prasad Devineni under the banners of Showing Business and Arka Media Works.
