Get ready for some more chilling adventures. Disney’s much-awaited sequel Frozen 2 is underway and we have all the rumours and spoilers for you. Here is all the information we know about it so far.
Directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, Frozen was a sensational movie released in 2013. Inspired by Hans Andersen’s fairy tale “The Snow Queen“, the movie about two sisters trapped in a perpetual winter was a smash hit. It was a major money making force for the Disney so expecting the sequel was a no-brainer.
Disney, during its shareholder meeting, announced the details of its upcoming movies “Star Wars” and “Frozen 2”. Since the confirmation of the movie, there have been so many rumours and speculations related to the sequel coming into the news.
The biggest spoiler about the movie of Elsa being gay is in the highlights for many days. We have seen Elsa having no love interest in Frozen which gives a hint that she could be gay. That’s a news!
Frozen writer and co-director Jennifer Lee has also given some hopes about this rumour to be true. She said “Many rumours are happening around. We will see where we can go”. She did not deny the rumour. If this is true then Elsa will be the first gay princess in the history of Disney.
Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, and Josh Gad are reprising their roles. In fact, most of the original star-cast will be back again in the sequel too.
The sequel will show the personalities of the sisters in a more elaborate away; especially Elsa. In the previous movie Else was fighting with herself to save the town from her strange magic which did not give her space to show her lighter side. This time we might get to see her fun part and reportedly her female love interest as well. Fans are quite excited to see her true personality.
One more recent rumour says that Ana and Elsa’s parents are still alive and also expected to make their presence in the sequel. They might reveal how Elsa got the strange magical powers to turn everything into ice.
They might also reveal that Elsa and Anna are not blood sisters. The plot will be around the changes in their relationship after this revelation.
Frozen 2 is expected to hit the floor on November 22nd, 2019 which is a long time away. For now, you can see ‘Olaf’s Frozen Adventure’, a holiday-themed featurette by Disney released last week. It will give you some patience to wait for the sequel to hit the floor.
