Henry Cavill reportedly in final talks to return as Superman

According to insider Grace Randolph, Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman at the DCEU. If true, the news is sure to divide fans, with those who were happy to see Warner Bros. move in a different direction thanks to movies like Shazam! and jester fuming, and those who were excited to learn Snyder's cut were finally preparing to celebrate.

For starters, Randolph shared that the talks between the actor and the studio are in effect and that a deal is supposedly coming soon.

He then clarified that this is not just for Snyder Cut reshoots, but for re-playing Supes in a new movie.

And finally, Randolph emphasized once again that the announcement could come soon. Even as early as next week.

Although Cavill has not been officially fired from the franchise, Warner Bros. has not announced plans for a future Superman movie or a cameo in any of the upcoming movies. Still, Randolph has a solid track record, especially when it comes to DC intelligence, and if you look online, you'll see that she's not the only one talking about this, either.

However, until Warner Bros. makes the official announcement, fans of Cavill's portrayal of the character can expect to see more of him in Snyder Cut. This new, improved, and supposedly a four-hour version of League of Justice, officially announced earlier this week, will premiere on HBO Max sometime next year.

Tell us, however, would you like to see Cavill make his comeback as Superman in a new movie? Or should I go from paper? As always let us know in the comment section below.
