Veteran lyricist Sameer Anjaan recently looked back at a major turning point in his early career, revealing how he narrowly missed the chance to pen the lyrics for Aamir Khan‘s breakthrough film, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.
Although music composer duo Anand-Milind stayed on the project, Anjaan was ultimately replaced at the last minute by the legendary poet and lyricist Majrooh Sultanpuri just as the song selections were being finalized.
Despite missing out on that initial milestone, Anjaan demonstrated his staying power in the entertainment business by later collaborating with both director Mansoor Khan and star Aamir Khan on various other projects.
