More than 3.4x gains on the break-even target!
True to the franchise’s roots, Insidious: Out of the Further was produced on a modest budget and has already cleared its theatrical break-even goals. Produced on an $18 million budget, the film’s financial break-even point was set at $45 million. Having generated more than $100 million above that target globally—achieving roughly 3.4 times its required recovery amount—the title has accomplished this feat in under a month.
The feature is currently projected to finish its theatrical run with worldwide earnings between $170 million and $190 million. Directed by Jacob Chase, the narrative centers on a young woman gifted with the ability to interact with spirits and pull them into the mortal realm, only to find herself pursued by dark and malevolent entities. Insidious: Out of the Further premiered on August 21.
