Karthi’s ‘Sardar 2’ faces Rs 50 crore loss after ending a disappointing note

Karthi’s sequel ‘Sardar 2’ wraps up its theatrical run with lackluster box-office receipts and tepid audience reactions. The film has seen an estimated loss of Rs 50 crore from a Rs 100 crore budget. Facing tough competition from Soori’s ‘Mandaadi,’ ‘Sardar 2’ failed to gain traction post-release. This disappointing performance now casts doubt on Karthi’s upcoming projects in the film industry.
