A new biographical film is bringing the extraordinary life and musical legacy of M.S. Subbulakshmi to the screen. Rashmika Mandanna has been cast to play the legendary Carnatic singer in this upcoming project.
The announcement of the biopic coincided with the 110th birth anniversary of M.S. Subbulakshmi. The film will be directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, and the musical score will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
During the official launch event for the movie, actor Kamal Haasan was present to offer his support and encouragement to Mandanna.
