Director Nag Ashwin has revealed that regular filming for Kalki 2898 AD: Part 2 is scheduled to kick off in October 2026. Building on the triumph of the initial movie, he expects production to wrap up by the middle of 2027.
Ashwin also shared his appreciation for the warm reception and excitement viewers have shown toward the upcoming sequel. The team’s drive for the next chapter has been further boosted by Kalki 2898 AD taking home two National Awards.
