National Award-winning filmmaker Dominic Sangma was reportedly attacked with bamboo sticks on Wednesday evening close to Rakap village. The incident occurred as he attempted to shield students from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) who were being harassed by two individuals.
An official First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged at the Balijan Police Station, identifying the accused as Techi Nanu and Techi Sanjay. Law enforcement officials are currently looking into the altercation and the related accusations of assault.
