Released on September 10, the film has been receiving favorable reviews praising its narrative and action sequences. Soori conveyed his thanks for the heartfelt recognition and phone call from the legendary actor.
‘Mandaadi’ centers on traditional sailing boat races and required intense physical exertion from the cast. In its first five days at the box office, the feature has pulled in roughly Rs 40 crore.
