Ramayana Box Office Day 1 Advance Booking (14 Days To Go): Maintains Momentum With 88K+ Tickets Already Booked!

Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi, is the next big Indian release of 2026 after Jailer 2. Being the most expensive Indian film to date, expectations are sky-high, and so far, the magnum opus is living up to its hype, as far as advance bookings are concerned at the Indian box office. With two weeks to go until the theatrical release, the film has already come close to the 90K mark in tickets sold on day 1. Keep reading for a detailed report!

Full-fledged bookings yet to open

As of now, only premium multiplex chains have opened bookings, and only a limited number of shows have been listed. According to reports, negotiations between distributors and exhibitors of non-national cinema chains and single screens are ongoing regarding the distributor share. It is expected to be settled soon, and once that happens, more shows will be listed. As of now, 3,700 shows have been listed, and the average ticket price is high.

Ramayana grosses 5 crore+ through day 1 advance bookings

Coming to the day 1 advance booking update, Ramayana has sold 88.3K tickets (excluding blocked seats) as of 11:30 am IST. In terms of collections, the film has grossed a solid 5.15 crore at the Indian box office through opening-day pre-sales. In net collections, it equals 4.36 crore. Ever since bookings opened, the film has been selling tickets like hotcakes, and with 14 days still to go, it is targeting serious numbers by the end of pre-sales.

Among states, Delhi is leading the charts by selling tickets worth 1.34 crore gross. It is followed by Maharashtra at 1.3 crore gross. Karnataka is third with 37.13 lakh gross. Among cities, the NCR region is at the top with 1.34 crore gross, followed by Mumbai at 87.72 lakh gross.

Can it challenge Dhurandhar 2?

As of now, Dhurandhar 2 holds the record for the highest day 1 advance bookings for a Bollywood film at the Indian box office. Backed by tremendous hype, the Ranveer Singh starrer grossed 52.35 crore from opening-day pre-sales alone, which doesn’t count premiere sales. While the number looks too big to beat, Ramayana aims to surpass it given the momentum in pre-sales. Let’s see how things unfold in the coming days.
