Ranabaali Box Office Collection Day 1: Registers Vijay Deverakonda’s 4th Biggest Opening Post-COVID, 10th For Rashmika Mandanna

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s Ranabaali was released in theatres on Friday. The film, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, was meant to mark Vijay’s grand comeback at the box office. The actor has not had much luck at the box office post-COVID. However, Ranabaali has not even managed to place among Vijay’s top three post-COVID opening-day collections.

How Much Did Ranabaali Earn At The Box Office On Opening Day?

Vijay’s latest film has not even surpassed the opening-day collection of his pan-India disaster, Liger. In fact, the film failed to cross the 10 crore mark in India net collections. On Day 1, the film earned 9.25 crore net. This equals approximately 10.92 crore gross in India. The film earned just 5.75 crore in overseas gross, bringing its worldwide total to 16.67 crore.

Ranabaali’s opening-day collection falls far behind that of Vijay’s last film, Kingdom. Even though Kingdom proved to be a box-office flop, it recorded a strong opening day. The film earned 17 crore on Day 1, making Ranabaali’s opening-day collection 47% lower than Kingdom’s.
