As Pink marks its 10th anniversary, director Shoojit Sircar has been looking back at the creation of the acclaimed drama, which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, and Kirti Kulhari. In a conversation with Variety India, Sircar shared how Bachchan’s participation fundamentally shifted the trajectory of the film, noting that the veteran actor provided valuable script suggestions and played a key role in developing the pivotal “no means no” courtroom scene.
