The Samsung Galaxy S20 reference list suggests at least 12 GB of RAM in all models; Mannequins comparing video surface size

The Samsung Galaxy S20 allegedly appeared on the Geekbench reference portal a few days after the Galaxy S20 + was seen on the same source. The reference list of the next Samsung phone suggests that 12 GB of RAM would be the minimum option in the new line that is speculated to have Galaxy S20 + and Galaxy S20 Ultra as high-end models in addition to the Galaxy S20. Separately, a video comparing the Galaxy S20 mannequins hints at the size differences of the three new flagships.

According to the reference list on the Geekbench site that has a loading date on January 16, the Samsung phone carries the model number SM-G981U. This seems to be the American 5G variant of the Samsung Galaxy S20. The list shows that the phone runs Android 10 and works with a Qualcomm SoC, along with 12 GB of RAM.

The new reference list reveals nothing new. However, as SamMobile pointed out, it suggests that 12 GB of RAM would be the minimum option on the line, since most base models are compared before a flagship phone is launched.

That said, you can expect an option of 8 GB of attenuated RAM for me, the LTE variant of the Galaxy S20 that would reach markets like India.

In addition to the list on the Geekbench site, a video of XDA Developers was released on YouTube that is said to show 3D printed Samsung Galaxy S20 dolls based on data obtained from a box manufacturer. The video shows the design level differences that would come in the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 + and Galaxy S20 Ultra.

The Galaxy S20, according to the video, with a 6.2 or 6.3-inch screen is probably not much larger than the Galaxy S10 that has a 6.1-inch screen. This could be due to a higher aspect ratio. In addition, you can get a narrower construction on what you will get in the Samsung Galaxy S10.

If we look at the model of the Samsung Galaxy S20 + that appears in the video, it seems to be slightly higher than the Samsung Galaxy S10 +. However, while the Galaxy S10 + has a 6.4-inch screen, it is rumored that the Galaxy S20 + has a 6.7-inch panel.

On the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, the phone that is speculated to be the successor to the Galaxy S10 +, the video suggests that it would get a higher design than the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. However, the rounded edges of the phone can help make it a friendly option for one-handed operations.

Gadgets 360 could not independently verify the details provided in the video. Therefore, it is safe to consider reported designs with a pinch of salt.

Samsung will organize the Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event in San Francisco, California, on February 11, where it is expected to reveal the Galaxy S20 models along with its next-generation folding phone. You must be attentive to 360 Gadgets to see the latest updates of the next Samsung phones.
