This time I'm much faster with episode two of LEGO Masters And it was phenomenal. This time, competitors had to create stories with a spatial theme that would also have to look good while being destroyed. The method of destruction varied from explosions to baseball bats and gravity falls. Each of these methods had great moments at the end, but we will get there. Too, Mayim Byalik He entered as a guest star and it was great, but then I felt disappointed. She appeared and helped Will arnett with her host duties a little, but halfway she just left. I thought I was going to help destroy them or act like a third judge or something. I just felt a little forced.
So this week we saw some really great constructions with my personal favorite of Tyler and Amy. I felt that they really planned things for destruction in the best way and I was not surprised at all when they ended up winning the week. They planned for that charge to fall on the monster perfectly! I also enjoyed the underwater volcano of Flynn and Richard and the video game scene created by Boone and Mark.
It's no secret that Sam and Jessica are my least favorite team. I really expected them to be sent home. This was the second week that their lack of cohesion has put them in the last two. I will say that I enjoyed Arnett working to help both of them stop fighting and improve their relationship a bit. That was a sweet moment. I will also say that, as much as I wanted Sam and Jessica to be eliminated, I know that the judges made the right decision with Jessie and Kara. Its construction collapsed upon reaching the table and did not leave a story after the destruction, which means that it did not meet several parameters.
Another highlight of the episode for me was when Flynn was freaking out and panicking because they might be kicked out and Richard helped calm him down and assure him. It was very sweet. I also appreciated a bit of Mel and Jermaine's comments that they gave Christian and Aaron about the use of the Golden Brick. Can we also talk about how brave Kara was when she took off her running shoes and grabbed LEGO with bare feet when there is LEGO on the floor? That is a bold move.
Speaking of Christian and Aaron, I was not surprised that everyone was disappointed by their destruction. The judges called him 100%. There was a lot of negative space, which meant fewer parts and they used very strong connectors and parts, which meant less splashing.
When it came to the different methods of destruction, I thought it was very smart that each team had something different to plan. This helped to maintain a wide variety of designs and prevent things from becoming too similar.
Although I got confused. Did Tyler and Amy win a gold brick? Did they get it from Christian and Aaron? Does Christian and Aaron still have the only Golden Brick? I felt that there was talk throughout the Golden Brick that was possibly happening. Can anyone clarify that for me? Who are you currently supporting?
