Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s upcoming fantasy thriller, The Vvaan, has generated solid anticipation leading up to its release. Backed by a well-received trailer and soundtrack, the film hits theaters tomorrow (September 25), with Indian box office advance bookings already underway and pre-sales building decent-to-good momentum as more screenings are assigned.
Full allocations are still pending, leaving the current show count near 4,000. The primary obstacle remains Hanuman Ansh, which continues its strong run without slowing down. Although the devotional drama will maintain a significant share of screenings, the fantasy thriller is still projected to secure a strong show count by day’s end, with tickets averaging 228 rupees.

Regarding opening-day pre-sales as of 11:30 am IST, The Vvaan has moved 42K tickets (omitting blocked seats). This translates to a gross collection of 1.03 crore at the Indian box office, with net collections amounting to 87 lakh. Having stood at 33 lakh gross as of yesterday at 4:30 pm IST, the film experienced a massive 212% surge over a 19-hour period, highlighting encouraging audience enthusiasm.

State-wise, Delhi leads with nearly 24 lakh gross, trailed by Maharashtra at 16.11 lakh. On a city level, the Delhi-NCR area leads the market with nearly 24 lakh gross, followed by Mumbai at 9.83 lakh gross.
Opening weekend pre-sales update
Across its 3-day opening weekend, The Vvaan has accumulated 2.43 crore in ticket sales (excluding blocked seats), with the opening day accounting for 42.39% of those bookings. With no fresh competition in the Hindi market, the movie is well-positioned for strong weekend growth should early reviews and word-of-mouth prove positive, which would substantially boost pre-sales for Saturday and Sunday.
