Ultimately, the Udta Teer preview has rubbed many in Pakistan the wrong way, as audiences grow tired of India repeatedly spotlighting their nation and its alleged terrorist connections. The cross-border espionage storyline and satirical elements have provoked sharp rebuttals from Pakistani social media users. Numerous commentators questioned why mainstream commercial cinema in Bollywood continues to lean heavily on India-Pakistan tropes, sparking a wave of sarcastic remarks and witty retorts.

One online comment stated, “Whenever India has been humiliated at the hands of Pakistan, they get their revenge by making movies about it.
