Brad Pitt is officially returning to star in the long-rumored sequel to the zombie thriller World War Z. The project has been designated as a high priority by Paramount Pictures after previously sitting in development limbo.
Edward Berger will direct the feature, which reunites him with Pitt. Dennis Kelly has been tapped to pen the screenplay for the upcoming movie.
Production will be handled by Pitt alongside Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner, with Berger serving as an executive producer.
