A violent confrontation erupted at the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute involving students and members of the Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat (ABGP). The unrest began when students demonstrated against what they described as an unauthorized gathering hosted by the ABGP.
The dispute quickly turned physical, leaving individuals from both factions injured. In response to the incident, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap amplified the official statement released by the Students’ Union, voicing his disapproval of the unfolding events and the surrounding political accusations.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the disturbance, as both groups maintain conflicting versions of how the clash transpired.
