Avengers: Endgame Encore is scheduled to arrive in theaters globally this week. This Marvel feature returns to the big screen with a few extra minutes that tie into the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday. Advance ticket sales in China opened three days ago, delivering phenomenal numbers over the first couple of days before experiencing a slowdown on the third day of pre-sales. Special previews are scheduled across the country on September 24, leading up to the official wide release on September 25.

After just two days of advance booking, the movie reached $965K for its opening weekend. By the third day of pre-sales, the initial weekend projection climbed to $1.4 million. So far, the picture has rolled out across 27K screenings.
According to Luiz Fernando, advance sales alone are driving an opening-day take of over $1 million. The re-release has already outpaced the opening-weekend figures of Jurassic World: Rebirth ($133K), Apes ($211K), Aquaman ($281K), Dune: Part 2 ($307K), and Deadpool & Wolverine ($683K).

In terms of 3-day pre-sales, only Zootopia 2, F9, Avatar: The Way Of Water, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Godzilla vs Kong, Fast X, The Odyssey, Meg 2: The Trench, and Avatar: Fire And Ash rank ahead of Encore. Should the pre-sales maintain their current momentum and secure a high enough overall screen count by opening day, the $50 million 3-day debut remains achievable.
