Directed by Girish AD, the project saw its daily earnings dip below 1 crore for the first time during its fifth week. On the sixth Friday, it pulled in 0.4 crore, lifting its net domestic total to 161.37 crore (which equals 190.42 crore). International markets contributed an overseas gross of 137.65 crore, pushing the worldwide gross to a staggering 328.07 crore.

Interestingly, Mamitha Baiju also played the female lead in Jana Nayagan, meaning the actress has now topped her own Tamil hit with her latest Malayalam release. Released in theatres in July of this year, Jana Nayagan served as Vijay’s farewell project.

While the Vijay vehicle finished its theatrical run with a worldwide total of 327.2 crore, Nivin Pauly’s movie has reached a global haul of 328.07 crore in 36 days. The picture is expected to conclude its box office journey in its seventh week, likely landing somewhere between the 330-335 crore bracket.
