Episode 1-5 Summary: The third season of For All Mankind continues where season 2 left off with an international team being tasked by Dr. Konrad to gather the samples of a virus that causes the deterioration of human genes called GG-1181.
Recently, Dr. Konrad’s daughter, Dr. Sofia Curtis, was kidnapped by a black market group that is demanding that she gets a hold of the GG-1181 virus that Dr. Curtis had managed to get her hands on in episode 1 but refused to give it up, even during torture by her captors.
However, now the tables have turned, and Dr. Curtis is the one who has been kidnapped by a group that wants to get their hands on the virus samples. Who’s on which team?
Episode 6-8 Summary: The international team arrives at the mobile base of Dr. Curtis’s kidnappers, where there is evidence that they are not only after her genetic info but also her research on Dystosis, a disease with similarities between HIV/AIDS and Ebola that causes organ failure, death and mimic similar symptoms.

The storyline of The For All Mankind Season 3
The first episode of season 3 aired, and the tension and intrigue immediately drew me in. There is much to unpack here- what will the future hold for Daniel, his family, and Richard’s staff? Etc.
Daniel is played by Max Greenfield (New Girl), but is not listed in the credits under Max Greenfield because ‘Max’ is just an alias for Dan Stevens. Who is Dan Stevens?
I’ve seen him in many things, but this is his first big-time dramatic role. Before this, he was known as Matthew Crawley in the mini-series Downton Abbey and played a young man being assaulted by Christian Bale’s character in The Dark Knight Rises. He also has a black belt in taekwondo and studied at the Actors Studio in London.
Third season Premiere Episodes 1 — Karen’s New Job — ‘For All Mankind’ Summary
Karen is still trying to find a job and has reached the end of her road. A new opportunity comes in the form of an interview with a PR firm that seems too good to be true.
The episode begins with Karen at the parking garage looking down at Kenny’s car forlornly. The next scene shows Karen in a shabby gray office, where she interviews for a job as their publicist slash client liaison.
She is asked if she is willing to travel. Karen replies that she will live in her apartment as long as she can. She is then asked how much money she wants and if she is comfortable answering the question.
She says yes, and the interviewer asks how much money she makes right now, to which Karen answers $120+k a year.
The interviewer specifies that that’s her base salary and not what happens after bonuses are added in or anything else, all of which Karen says, “I know.
