Karthik Subbaraj’s recent directorial, Dorothy, has been witnessing flat collections at the box office. The film, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) last month, was released in theaters in India on September 25. Since then, the film has recorded limited collections but generated online discussions. However, despite the considerable chatter surrounding the film, its box office collection has not seen much growth in the days that followed.
How Much Did Dorothy Earn At The Box Office In 16 Days?
The Keerthy Suresh-starrer has entered its third week at the box office. On its third Saturday, the film earned 88 lakh across 584 shows. Although the film saw growth compared to its third Friday, the total number of shows dropped by 50 on Saturday. The film’s total India net collection stands at 12.9 crore after 16 days, which translates to 15.22 crore gross.
The film’s third-Saturday collection is nearly equal to its opening-day collection. Although the numbers remain flat, it seems that the film could last another two weeks at the box office.
