Marvel’s latest TV show, “Ms. Marvel”, is shown to be a lighthearted new take on the superhero genre. However, in the recent episode of Season 2 debuting on May 5th (titled “Ghosts”), there has been a change of tone and what seems like a dark turn in events. In this episode, the Nano-Tech Suit, used by the show’s protagonist and main character, Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan), has resulted in her developing abilities that are often associated with those of mutants (“mutant powers”). However, she has not yet been officially given the title “mutant”.
It seems to suggest that this power will be used as a plot device and not an attempt at bringing in a more traditional mutant storyline.
Introduction to The Ms. Marvel
Marvel Comics recently introduced Ms. Marvel to the world on their website, with a splash! She is the first Muslim superhero and her story is set in modern-day New Jersey. While she makes her debut in a comic book, there’s no reason you can’t see this powerful heroine make a mark on the small screen too! While she might seem like another one of Marvel’s many strong female characters, Ms. Marvel is one of the few superheroes that has ties to Judaism as well as Islam. Her creator, writer G. Willow Wilson, is a Jewish Muslim and she has even spoken about the importance of showing diversity in the comic book world.

The storyline of The Ms. Marvel
Kamala Khan, the new Ms. Marvel, is a typical 16-year-old Muslim girl living in Jersey City, who loves superheroes and idolizes her brother’s friend, Captain Marvel (AKA Carol Danvers). But when Kamala is suddenly given strange but amazing powers of her own, she must decide what to do with them– and which hero she wants to be. Ms. Marvel is about Kamala Khan and how she struggles to reconcile being a teen with being an extraordinary individual in the world.

It is also about her relationship with Carol Danvers, and how it changes as Kamala develops new powers. It’s about how being a teenager isn’t always easy, and how sometimes the most dangerous heroes are those you grow into. It’s also a story about identity: How Ms. Marvel became who she is and what it means to be “Ms.” As a Ms. Marvel fan himself, writer G. Willow Wilson was inspired by the classic Ms./Captain Marvel storyline in which Ms.
Ms. Marvel now has the greatest Rotten Tomatoes rating of any Marvel film
The 18th Marvel film, Ms. Marvel, is a record-breaking success (this article will go through the details). With an unprecedented 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, it’s breaking records left and right. This smash hit was released to theaters in March of 2019. It’s no surprise that the highest-rated Marvel production has been met with praise by critics and audiences alike. Ms. Marvel, a.k.a. Carol Danvers or Captain Marvel, stars constitutionals Brie Larson as the titular character who, after undergoing a super-powered transformation in an accident, becomes her hero and leads the fight against an extraterrestrial race that plans to use a Kree weapon to destroy Earth.
