Just three weeks after wrapping up, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali headed back to work on Love & War, spending a week at Welcome Maidaan to reshoot battle sequences featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal in order to perfect the war portions. Although an additional song had been planned, that sequence was ultimately shelved.
In other developments regarding Kapoor, his upcoming project with director Nitesh Tiwari—titled Ramayana and co-starring Sai Pallavi, Yash, and Sunny Deol—is slated for a two-part theatrical release during Diwali in 2026 and 2027.
