In the action thriller The Paradise, Sonali Kulkarni portrays Sammakka, the mother of Nani, bringing to life a distinct storyline for her character that exists independently of her son.
To fully commit to the part, Kulkarni learned the Telugu language and provided her own voice for the dialogue. She views taking on a maternal role as a revitalizing challenge.
The Paradise is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 24.
