Chiyaan Vikram is preparing for his next cinematic release, with the producers of his upcoming movie having revealed the title through a high-energy announcement video. Departing from traditional title reveals that typically spotlight the lead actor in an oversized, grand persona, Power House also showcases supporting characters while shedding light on the protagonist’s dual personality.
The title reveal opens with the star carrying a load of bananas on his shoulder as he steps into a residence. Once inside, it becomes clear that he operates a catering business alongside his family members, which includes his mother and sister. Dressed in a white shirt and mundu, he is briefed on wedding lunch preparations by two individuals, and he is also captured on the phone reassuring a client regarding the lunch catering.
Additionally, the footage introduces Riya Shibu as Vikram’s older sister. The actress gained recognition for her work in the Malayalam movie Sarvam Maya and portrays a bubbly character here. Veteran actress Urvashi is also introduced in the role of Vikram’s mother. Although they initially appear to be a cheerful family, the atmosphere of the video shifts rapidly.

Vikram is then shown heading into a storage room, adopting a considerably graver demeanor that highlights his star power. Once away from his family’s view, his stride and attitude undergo a complete shift. Equipped with a bucket and mop, he cleans blood-stained floors and keeps two men captive—one tied to a chair and another suspended upside down from the ceiling. When one captive attempts to break free, Vikram warns him to stay still to avoid fatal brain damage.
The clip concludes on a strong note as Vikram approaches the captive, looks straight into his eyes, and declares, “Buddy, why the rush? I have just started to cook. Not letting you go without serving a full meal. 100% guarantee.” The video finishes with lively folk music playing as the official title flashes across the screen.
More than a year has elapsed since Vikram’s last appearance on the silver screen in Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2. Recognized as one of the country’s foremost stars and an exceptionally gifted performer, he has nevertheless lacked a massive box-office blockbuster recently. Power House appears tailored for theatrical viewing in a way that honors his superstardom, leaving open the possibility of a major commercial hit if both the narrative and execution deliver.
While additional information regarding the project is currently unavailable, the film boasts a robust core cast featuring Urvashi and Riya Shibu. Helmed by director Anand Shankar, the movie features a musical score composed by Santosh Narayanan.
