What is the plot of Ragnarok Season 3?
In the second season of Ragnarok, Magne continues to fight against Jutul Industries. Some evil giants work for the company, but he lost his powers early on in this season. Magne made Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir. And when he made it, Thor could finally use his gifts.
In the season two finale, Magne rains down some righteous lightning and thunder on Fjor and Ran’s car. The two Jutuls survive, and they can fight another day.
As if that wasn’t dramatic enough for y’all, the final episode of season two ends with Laurits kissing his young Jörmungandr snake. No, it’s not as dirty as it sounds. It is odd, though… And now, with the World Serpent unleashed in the Norwegian fjords, Laurits has become a major player in the war to come.
Not only will season three continue to follow Magne’s battle against the Jutuls, but Laurent’s lineage will also play a big role moving forward too. Will he side with the gods or the giants? Or perhaps even no one? The answer to this could quite literally bring about the end of days that’s long been prophesied in the Norse tales of old.
Let’s hope Netflix doesn’t cancel the show outright because leaving things on a cliffhanger would be more brutal than anything that the giants could come up with.
What can we expect from Ragnarok Season 3?
Ragnarok Season three will continue to follow Magne’s battle against the Jutuls and Laurent’s lineage. The show could end with a cliffhanger instead of going off on a more hopeful note.
We can expect some major character development in this season as well! Characters such as Ursa Helgadottir (played by Sasha Behar) are set for some serious arcs that were teased at Ragnarok Comic-Con 2018 last weekend. She’ll be getting her own storyline separate from Thor, Loki, or anyone else who you may have grown used to see Esi Thorne play over the past two seasons. That said, it sounds like there might still be some twists and turns coming up because she’s not the only one.
