The storyline of The Starstruck Season 3
The Starstruck Season 3, the conclusion to an original story, is a medieval reimagining of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. A love story between the only two members of opposing kingdoms is more than just forbidden; it’s impossible for Liana and Zan (whose characters are based on Romeo and Juliet), and that will not stop them from loving each other.
The Starstruck Season 3, part one, is titled: “A Fate Worse Than Death.” It follows Liana and Zan, who have grown up as friends. The only two opposing kingdom members know what their hatred for each other means: Liana’s family is willing to kill Zan if they are discovered together. When a new king takes power, the long-standing tense truce between the two kingdoms thins, and peace is at stake.
Rose Matafeo, the creator and star of Starstruck, is considering the third episode.
“Starstruck,” the web series produced in 2015, follows the show’s success with its second season and has been renewed for a third. Creator-star Rose Matafeo had only planned for about ten episodes to be created for the series before it was given life again – so writer’s block struck her hard. It was until she came up with the possibility of a season three that Matafeo began to find inspiration. “Then happened through an essay on TV Guide [about how shows evolve], so I thought, ‘Oh, what next? I’ll put so many ideas down, and I said, ‘That’s good!'” remarked the showrunner.
Maybe I should try writing more!’ And it was all about what a show does – whether you’re starting from scratch or not.
