Who will be starring in it
Temuera Morrison is back as Boba Fett.
Morrison’s first Star Wars appearance came in Attack of the Clones. He played Boba Fett’s bounty hunter, Jango Fett. Jango was the template for Clone Troopers who fought for the Old Republic in the Clone Wars. Jango paid for his genetic material by asking the cloners to make a son. His son was an unmodified version of himself, so he could call him his own.
And since 2004, Morrison has also been the voice of Boba Fett. George Lucas wanted to change lines from Jason Wingreen. So we have some continuity.
Morrison’s co-star in The Book of Boba Fett is Ming-Na Wen. She is a bounty hunter and stars in the Agents of SHIELD and Mulan. She is also playing a character in The Bad Batch. Other actors haven’t been announced yet, but we’ll update this section when they are.

Some people thought that this meant that The Mandalorian would change to an anthology format with different bounty hunters. But it turned out we got two shows about similar-looking bounty hunters instead.
I didn’t want to spoil the surprise during the big Kathleen Kennedy announcement of all the shows, so I kept this one a secret.
This is not the third season of The Mandalorian. There will be another show, but we can’t talk about it yet. It will be The Book of Boba Fett, and then we go into production right after that on The Mandalorian, back with the main character that we all know and love… pretty soon following that. A lot of Star Wars content is coming out; I think they announced ten projects, so this will be 11.
