Lately, Nani’s The Paradise has been generating immense buzz among cinema enthusiasts. Given the high demand for Nani’s violent action picture, a high level of curiosity was to be expected. Still, walking into a packed house at 10 pm on a weekday came as a surprise. Considering the movie has a runtime of 3 hours, attendees willingly sacrificed sleep ahead of work the next morning. Clearly, moviegoers are showing strong support for The Paradise team. The real question now is whether the picture actually delivers.
The opening half centers on Nani’s rise and his temper struggles. He is a character who channels every single emotion through rage—whether he feels upset, happy, or romantic. Essentially, he functions as a desi Hulk regarding emotional expression.
The feature gives Nani a powerful introduction, cementing his status as a mass action hero, or “Sher,” as the character is called. He unleashes brutal violence during a relentless killing spree.

Following DC, Anirudh Ravichander has delivered another consecutive banger score with The Paradise. He excels at using his music to elevate sequences, and The Paradise serves as yet another prime example. Even so, the production is excessively loud, resulting in a sensory overload where brief reprieves of quiet feel truly heavenly.
At the same time, The Paradise evokes echoes of earlier loud, emotion-heavy Tollywood action dramas like KGF and Salaar. Thus far, it shapes up as a decent project anchored by a strong pre-interval sequence. All attention now shifts to the second half.
