The Proud Family Reboot is the sequel to the classic and beloved Disney show, The Proud Family. Original cast members will be returning for the reboot. The confirmed cast includes Kyla Pratt as Penny Proud, Tara Strong as the voice of Trudy Proud, and Cree Summer as the voice of Bobby Hill. Plot details:
The series follows the Proud family as they deal with the everyday struggles of life. The show will explore the interpersonal relationships among the members and their friends while commenting on topical issues that resonate around the world from a dizzying array of perspectives, including those who are going through various forms of discrimination or cultural assimilation like Trudy’s husband, Alvin.
