The Sandman has a new trailer, which will be available on Netflix on August 5th. The horror/fantasy film is based off the comic series of the same name by Neil Gaiman and stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt as the lead role.
The film tells the story of Morpheus (Gordon-Levitt), who enters people’s dreams and captures their nightmares.
However, Morpheus himself is captured in the dream world for 70 years before he gets to go back to Earth. Once he returns to Earth, he goes after one of his old nemeses, named Mr. World (played by Alex Sharp).
The horror master himself directs the film, David Slade (30 Days of Night), and written by Jack Thorne (Harry Potter & The Cursed Child). Florence Pugh (Lady Macbeth) plays the female lead named “Abra” in the movie.
