Daniel Howat added, saying “THE SOCIAL RECKONING is a capable journalism drama about the social cancer we already know. It’s informative, though not necessarily compelling, given the unsatisfying reality we’re still living in. Good performances and a classic, rhythmic script from Sorkin. Solid as a whole.”
Sage Surge commended the film saying, “Aaron Sorkin, come get your Oscar nom for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Editing and Best Adapted Screenplay. #TheSocialReckoning is an absolute horrifying retelling of Facebook weaponizing hatred for profit & its global mental, physical, psychological political consequences.”
Leo Rydel summed up saying “WOOOO #TheSocialReckoning was great! Sorkin put that pen to WORK in this riveting, slow burn drama anchored superbly by incredible acting from Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White. Strong and Burr uphold a gripping duel as well. While slow at times, this was SOLID.”
