Kunal Kemmu’s second directorial, Vibe, was released in theaters on September 18. The film clashed with Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Daayra. Vibe was in the same genre as Kunal’s debut directorial, Madgaon Express (2024). However, unlike Madgaon Express, Vibe also featured Kunal in the lead role alongside Sparsh Shrivastava. The film also stars Preity Zinta in quite an intriguing role, unlike anything she has played before.
Upon its release, the comedy film received mixed-to-positive reviews. The film had a good start at the box office. While its collections slowed down as new releases arrived, it sustained its run at the box office for a month.

Vibe had a decent start at the box office, with a net total of 1.7 crore. It wrapped up its opening weekend at 7.45 crore net. The film’s net total after 27 days stands at 15.45 crore. The film’s India gross is 18.23 crore. Overseas, the film earned just 2.05 crore, bringing its worldwide total to 20.28 crore.

In contrast, Madgaon Express earned 36.81 crore net in India by the end of its theatrical run. Vibe earned 58% less than Madgaon Express.
