World Trigger Season 3: Cast
World Trigger follows members of Border, a military organization established after almost all of humanity was wiped out by a mysterious alien attack. Those who survived are forced to live in enclaves and rely on the World Government, which oversees World Borders, entities that separate nations and prevent countries from engaging in conflicts. The World Gov organizes the defense against aliens by training fighters called Trion Warriors. Members of Border face regular attacks from enemy aliens referred to as Neighbors while facing internal issues within their own ranks.
The World Trigger anime is produced by Toei Animation based on an original concept by internationally acclaimed manga artist Daisuke Ashihara. It premiered on TV Asahi on October 5th, 2014 with 47 episodes aired so far. World Trigger Season 2 premiered July 5th, 2016 with 25 episodes aired as of the date of this article (01/03/2017). World Trigger is simulcasted by Crunchyroll.
The World Trigger anime’s first season has been adapted into a game for PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS called World Trigger: Borderless Mission which launched in Japan on June 12, 2015.
The 3rd World Trigger anime season was announced in March 2017 to premiere this fall (JST) on TV Tokyo and other stations including TV Aichi, TV Hokkaido, TV Osaka, TV Setouchi, and TVQ Kyushu Housou. The anime will again air on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. World Trigger: Isekai Kara no Tōbōsha ( World Trigger: Heroes Beyond the World ) will again be directed by Akira Satō at Toei Animation with Kazuhiro Tamura as series director, and Youko Satou returning as character designer and chief animation director.
The Theme of World Trigger Season 3 :
World Trigger Season 3 ‘s story will feature the ” World Assignment” which comprises three separate World Missions (World War, World Exam, World Conquest).
The World War arc will be set in South America and continue from where we left off in seasons 1 & 2. The World Exam arc will take place in Japan as training for the World War while the World Conquest arc is about invaders who aim at taking over.

Plot: World Trigger Season 3 is set after God’s omniscient vision disappears when Ago, a mysterious World Triggers user who protected the inhabitants of Xyz from the Horologe of World Destruction, dies. Tensions rise among formerly allied countries as they scramble to gain power in this new world without a leader. Due to the devastating nature of World War III, everybody has lost someone dear to them; for Yuma Kuga and his friends, it is no different.

WHO WILL BE THE MAIN CHARACTERS IN WORLD TRIGGER SEASON 3?
The World Trigger the main cast will be the same as World Trigger Season 2 . Yuma Kuga: Ao Gennai: World Trigger No. 042, a Neighbor who has an excellent memory and uses his power to protect those around him from danger. He is stoic and professional at work but becomes very awkward in front of girls he likes. Osamu Mikumo: Chika Amatori: World Trigger No. 041, Yuma’s partner and rival whose attitude makes it appear that he dislikes others; however, he is actually a warm person.
World Trigger Season 3 will probably have Yuma and Osamu as World Trigger’s main characters.
WHO WILL BE THE NEW CHARACTERS IN WORLD TRIGGER SEASON 3?
The World Trigger side cast who will be the World Trigger season 3 new characters include Inami Mahiru: Shinobu Ōtsuka: World Trigger No. 047, a Neighbor whose partner is Torigoe (who was not introduced in World Trigger Season 2 ). She is usually calm but can be hot-headed at times. As one of World’s Border’s strongest agents, she has been assigned to the scout squad for some time now. Hizashi Kusakabe: Yūki Ono: World Trigger No. 048
, a Neighbor who is a World Border agent specializing in long-range combat. However, this has caused him to neglect his capabilities in close-range fighting despite being the World Trigger No. 048. He is currently part of Inami’s team and together with her they are known as “The World’s Strongest Pair”. Other World Trigger Season 3 new characters include Izumi Minami: Rina Satou: World Trigger No. 049, another classmate of Osamu (who was not introduced in World Trigger Season 2 ). Her color code contains the kanji for water (“Mizu” 水 ) which she likes well enough to collect various things related to it from souvenirs and clothing to even food that resembles water. Her World Trigger ability is “Hydrokinesis” (水技道, Suigamidō) which enables her to control water in any shape and form that she wants. She first appeared when World Trigger Season 2 was a few episodes away from ending and only became important in World Trigger Season 3 . World Trigger No. 050 (the last number), another classmate of Osamu who not part of his team as he has yet to be introduced as World Trigger Season 3 began airing.

As of the time this article was written, there is no official release date for World Trigger Season 3, although it’s said on Anime News Network that “WorldTrigger TV Anime Reveals WorldTrigger Season 3 So Far, WorldTrigger TV Anime to Revive WorldTrigger Season 2 World Trigger in Good Vibes at World Trigger .*
The first World Trigger season’s theme was “the meaning of the existence of Border”, while the second was “the meaning of friends”. The third one will be an answer to these questions. As for its release date, there is only a quote from Kurahashi himself saying that he wants to make it as soon as possible. There is no other news regarding WorldTrigger Season 3 . World Trigger does not have much information online and there is no official Twitter account associated with World Trigger. The anime’s site has been closed since October 2014. Therefore it would not come as a surprise if World Trigger Season 3 wasn’t even made. World Trigger is a relatively new anime, being only 2 years old. Fans are still skeptical about the renewal of World Trigger.
The Japanese World Trigger season 1 and World Trigger season 2 end with an important plot twist that was not revealed in the manga yet. World Trigger Season 3 will probably be created to continue on this plot and its ending as well (though no official confirmation has been provided). World Trigger Season 3 ‘s primary target audience might also prove interesting for the developers – it is teenagers who have read at least volume 7 of the manga, by which time they can follow up on what’s happened until now without having to remember past events from earlier volumes. With such a long break between seasons though, World Trigger fans might have grown up by World Trigger Season 3, which could potentially provide a different target audience than that of World Trigger season 1 (readers of World Trigger volume 1) and World Trigger season 2 (readers of World Trigger Volume 7).
