What’s in previous seasons?
This Is Us Season One: This is a show about hope, love and family. This Is Us tells the story of Jack Pearson (Milo Ventimiglia) an American marriage counsellor living in Pittsburgh with his wife Rebecca (Mandy Moore), their three children Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz) & Randall who are all “born on the same day in adjacent hospital rooms”.
Season Two: This season picks up a year after Rebecca and Jack’s death. We see some time jumps, with Randall at 16 years old for example.
Season Three: This season follows Kate as she battles alcoholism while trying to be there for her dad. This season also introduced Toby (Chris Sullivan) and Beth’s son, Randall II (Lonnie Chavis).
Season Four: This is Us now follows four generations of the Pearson family as they are put to the ultimate challenge with one another, their relationships and themselves.
Season Five: This Is Us kicks off its fifth and final season, which will follow the Pearsons through challenges and triumphs of life.
This Is Us Season Six: This is the US’ sixth and final season follows Jack as he navigates being a single father to four children while living in Los Angeles with his brother Nicky (Michael Angarano). We also see how Rebecca (Mandy Moore) has been coping with her husband’s death, as she and Jack move from Pittsburgh to Los Angeles.
It also explores Randall’s (Sterling K. Brown) life post-military service in Afghanistan as he tries to find a new sense of purpose; Kevin (Justin Hartley), who is trying to find his way after losing a series of jobs and facing the reality that he may never become an actor; Kate (Chrissy Metz), who has been diagnosed with scoliosis, sparking her interest in becoming a doctor. This Is Us Season Six also introduces Jack’s daughter Tess (Eris Baker) for the first moments warming heart from, emotion.
