Plot details:
The twits are the loveable social media stars. The father, Mr Twit, has always been obsessed with technology and he even runs his own company that specializes in gadgets for pets. His wife Mrs Twit is a former architect turned stay-at-home mom who spends her days designing clothes and running after their only child, Tweetie Pie the little girl with wings who loves art class and ice cream sundaes.
The family live in the big city of Chirp City where everyone is always plugged in. In their house, the only thing that plugs into an outlet is the blender for margaritas! The other characters include a talking dog, Larry; and Tweetie the little girl with wings.
The Twits is the story of a family who seems perfect on the outside but has a dysfunctional relationship and, for the most part, lives in denial. In the first season, Mr Twit needs to get more customers into his company so he pushes Mrs Twit too hard which causes her to leave him.
Synopsis:
The stories the Twits is an animated series that follows the family of Mr. and Mrs Twit who lives in the big city of Chirp City. The first season is about how the perfect-looking couple gets a divorce due to Mr Twit’s increasing demands on his wife, which he seems oblivious to.
Who is Twits?
The Twits are the main characters of the series. Mr Twit is a businessman who goes to extremes in his business, while Mrs Twit appears as the housewife with no idea what her husband does all day.
What happens?
In the first season, Mr and Mrs Twit have a troubled marriage due to the pressure the husband puts the wife through. The couple goes into divorce proceedings, with the first episode showing the separation of the family as they move out of their house and into two different houses which are miles apart from each other.
The series is about how Mr Twit wants to control his children more than anything else in the world while Mrs Twit tries to keep the children free from the influence of their father.
In the second season, the family moves back in together and the parents try to get along for the sake of the kids while they come up with a plan to save Mr Twit’s business which has gone into bankruptcy. The third season is about the couple trying to have another baby after the arrival of their second daughter.
In the fourth and final season, the parents try to adopt a baby after Mrs Twit becomes pregnant with triplets but it is not successful due to the couple’s age. The series ends with the family celebrating Christmas together before they all go off in different directions when Mr Twit announces that he has accepted a job in the north.
