Plot details:
The new season is the start of a few new plot points.
-Adam (Sean Giambrone) and the rest of the family will head to college for the first time, which should make things interesting as they meet their roommates. Adam’s roommate happens to be another young man who was born on the same day as him, the classic story of the odd couple.
-Adam and his sister Erica (Hayley Orrantia) will both struggle with the dynamics that come from the school year starting, as they are now in different classes than each other. Adam’s social group is moving up a class level which leaves him stuck at the bottom tier of high school kids; the common teenage struggle.
-While the kids get used to the new dynamic at home and school, the adults in the family will be navigating their own personal struggles. As always, Darlene (Sara Gilbert) is trying to find her footing as a single mother while also working on rebuilding her relationship with David (Johnny Galecki).
