Singh’s association with the team India for men began in the year 2018 Asian Champions Trophy where thanks to his efforts; the team was able to bring laurels back home from Muscat, Oman.

Being an athlete, Singh was able to represent India in 23 International matches from 1985-91 while he has also represented India in the Asian Games being held in Beijing in 1990. His skills were able to fetch a silver medal for the country.
