The film follows Newt Scamander and his friends as they try to stop villainous wizard Gellert Grindelwald and his followers from taking over the muggle world.

The mads Mikkelsen is Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, the sequel to 2016’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
In a cast change from J.K Rowling’s original novels, mads Mikkelsen will play master criminal Gellert Grindelwald – who was previously played by Colin Farrell.
Mads Mikkelsen is expected to be a major part of the plot as Grindelwald tries to foil one wizarding world leader, who has been revealed to be aurora borealis. The theme will focus on “love and friendship.”
